Maintenance Technician **- 1st Shift**

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team in **Appleton, WI.** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, enjoy fixing and troubleshooting, and have a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician

**Location:** Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $28-$35.00 per hour - depending on experience

**Shift:** Monday – Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm with flexibility for early or late hours a few times a week

What's the Job?

Duties & Responsibilities:

+ Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment

+ Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service

+ Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities

+ Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

+ Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service

+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustment

What's Needed?

+ We are looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience.

+ High school diploma/GED

+ Few years of production and industrial maintenance experience required

+ Education in industrial maintenace or similar preferred, but not required
