Our client, a government agency specializing in data-driven solutions, is seeking a Senior Analytics Practitioner to join their team. As a Senior Analytics Practitioner, you will be part of the Data Analytics Department supporting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Analytics Practitioner
**Location:** Arlington, Virginia (20% on-site)
What's the Job?
+ Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
+ Develop and create compelling data visualizations using tools such as Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, and MS Excel
+ Prepare detailed reports summarizing analysis results and providing clear recommendations for decision-makers
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives and dashboard development
+ Utilize statistical analysis software and database querying languages like R, SPSS, and SQL to enhance analysis quality
What's Needed?
+ Proficiency in data modeling, visualization, and manipulation techniques
+ Experience with Databricks Platform and other data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or MS Excel
+ Strong understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and large dataset management
+ Experience with statistical analysis software and SQL querying skills
+ Ability to work within an agile environment and follow software development lifecycle practices
