Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Picking and Packing specialist to join their team. As a Picking and Packing associate, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the receiving operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Picking and Packing
**Location:** Arlington, TX
**Pay Range:** $17.00/hr
**Shift:** 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday
What's the Job?
+ Receiving – unload small UPS and FedEx shipments, inspect, and count incoming items against invoices, check for damage, and log accurately into inventory systems.
+ Kitting – support production by pulling specified parts, counting, packaging into kits as per work orders or bills of materials (BOMs), and labeling correctly.
+ Quality & Safety – ensure kit accuracy, report discrepancies, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Maintain inventory records and ensure proper documentation for all shipments and receipts.
+ Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals efficiently and effectively.
What's Needed?
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in shipping/receiving or related industrial roles.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to lift and move small packages and shipments safely.
+ Basic knowledge of inventory systems and documentation procedures.
+ Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to work.
