Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Support team, ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive in this dynamic environment.

**Location:** Long Beach, CA

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

+ Perform daily inspections and maintenance of Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment within the data center.

+ Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, chillers, HVAC, and BMS systems.

+ Oversee third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, procedures, and regulations.

+ Contribute to the development of work processes, safety protocols, and documentation such as Job Hazard Analysis reports and SOPs.

+ Support safety and regulatory compliance by following established policies and PPE requirements.

What's Needed?

+ 2-4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical fields such as HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems.

+ Strong background in either HVAC or Electrical systems.

+ Knowledge of emergency response, standby, and call-out procedures.

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
