Description

We are looking for a Cash Processing Teller to join our team on a contract basis in Broadview, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure and accurate handling of customer deposits, transactions, and currency processing. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently while meeting productivity standards.

Responsibilities:

• Verify assigned deposits and inspect deposit bags to ensure there are no signs of tampering.

• Process customer deposits and resolve any discrepancies or out-of-balance conditions.

• Maintain strict adherence to company policies and comply with state and federal regulations.

• Detect counterfeit currency, monitor suspicious activities, and promptly report concerns to supervisors.

• Prepare change orders and ensure accurate cash settlements before transferring funds to vaults.

• Meet productivity benchmarks and deadlines for deposit processing tasks.

• Identify and recommend opportunities for improving operational processes.

• Work independently and efficiently without requiring constant supervision.

The salary range for this position is $17 to $18. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • Proven experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, or similar payment processing roles.

• Strong skills in posting payments and handling cash transactions accurately.

• Familiarity with identifying counterfeit currency and adhering to security protocols.

• Ability to reconcile financial discrepancies and maintain detailed records.

• Knowledge of relevant regulations related to cash handling and financial transactions.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet productivity standards.

• Comfortable working independently and managing tasks with minimal supervision.
