Job Title: Tax Preparer (Bilingual Mandarin)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Tax Software: Lacerte (Required)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our growing team in City of Industry. The ideal candidate is bilingual in Mandarin and English, detail-oriented, and comfortable preparing a high volume of individual and/or business tax returns using Lacerte. This role involves direct client interaction, so strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and review federal and state tax returns (individuals and small businesses)

+ Gather, organize, and analyze financial information from clients

+ Ensure compliance with IRS and state tax regulations

+ Communicate clearly with Mandarin- and English-speaking clients regarding tax matters

+ Identify potential tax savings and deductions

+ Maintain accurate and confidential client records

+ Assist with extensions, amendments, and tax notices as needed

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Prior experience as a Tax Preparer

+ Proficiency in Lacerte tax software (required)

+ Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written)

+ Strong knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during tax season

+ PTIN required (EA or CPA a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with business returns (LLCs, S-Corps, C-Corps)

+ Previous public accounting or tax firm experience

+ EA or CPA license
