Are you a confident, self-driven litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants the flexibility of working 100% remotely?

We’re partnering with a highly respected plaintiff-side firm seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to support a lead partner on asbestos and complex civil litigation matters. This is a long-term contract opportunity with immediate start and consistent workload.

This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys taking ownership of cases, working independently, and being a true right hand to the partner.

What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Managing a high-volume litigation caseload from pleadings through motion practice

+ Drafting and arguing motions, discovery, and other law & motion matters

+ Conducting in-depth legal research and writing

+ Strategizing with the lead partner on case direction and deadlines

+ Operating independently in a fully remote environment while meeting aggressive timelines

+ Working 40+ hours per week, with overtime available and expected during busy periods

Requirements

+ California licensed attorney in good standing

+ Strong background in civil litigation (plaintiff or defense)

+ Plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred

+ Asbestos litigation experience is a big plus, but not required (plaintiff, not defense)

+ Proven ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage deadlines without daily supervision

+ Comfortable handling a fast-paced, high-volume docket

+ Excellent legal writing, research, and organizational skills

+ Tech-savvy and able to work efficiently in a remote setting
