Posting Summary
Repair, callibrate, install, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of complex medical instruments. Perform duties including repair service, performance inspection and customer support in the management of clinical technology.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Associate degree in Biomedical technology or electronics and two years of related experience required. Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain and driver’s check required. Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Effective communication, customer service, and computer skills required.
Desirable Qualifications
Certification as a biomedical equipment technician.
Anticipated Pay Range $24/hr to $41/hr
Other Information
Special Conditions Weekend work required, Non-standard work hours required, A probationary period may be required, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), Travel to and from worksites required, This position is ineligible for telework due to the essential functions, Background Check required for this position, A post-offer pre-employment (POPE test) physical examination is required
