    Description

    Join our team as a Senior Accountant! A Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the organization’s accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, and supporting management with detailed financial analysis and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness

    + Oversee the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded

    + Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

    + Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

    + Support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes

    + Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations or accounting standards

    + Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff

    + Collaborate with other departments to support financial planning and analysis initiatives

    + Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting functions

    + Assist with the preparation of tax filings and external audits

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + Several years of relevant accounting experience; CPA certification often preferred

    + Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

    + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + High attention to detail and accuracy
