Description
Robert Half has partnered with a successful client on their search for a proactive Staff Auditor with strong analytical and communication skills. As the Staff Auditor you will survey and direct a stable and accurate auditing process, audit financial statements, prepare tax returns and regulatory filings, improve financial auditing procedures, and ensure productivity of internal controls. The ideal candidate will also perform testing of internal controls, coordinate assessments on IT risk, and develop and implement detailed audit plans.
Major Responsibilities
• Oversee internal auditing process
• Identify potential IT risks
• Research new technology tools and techniques
• Assist audit manager
• Prepare timely documentation for auditing
• Analyze system activities
• Maintain strong relationships with audit team
• Perform risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with rules and regulations
Requirements
The ideal Staff Auditor will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Staff Auditor role include and are not limited to:
• 0-3 years of Audit experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
• CPA highly preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
