    Description

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting principles who is looking to grow their career in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and maintain general ledger entries

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

    + Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts

    + Prepare journal entries and account analyses

    + Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable

    + Support preparation of financial statements and reports

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

    + Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + 1–3 years of accounting experience (internship experience acceptable)

    + Strong understanding of GAAP principles

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)

    + Public accounting experience a plus
