    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Job Description:

    The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing and managing all plant production operations, with overall responsibilities for production, safety, quality, and other production-related activities. This position reports to the Plant Manager and is FLSA Exempt (salaried).

    Responsibilities:

    + Direct and manage plant operations for safe and efficient production and processing of quality precast concrete products.

    + Provide direction, development, and leadership to direct reports for safety compliance, quality standards, and operating performance.

    + Coordinate with other plant supervisors and/or management to foster teamwork and achieve established goals.

    + Implement cost-effective systems of control over operating expenditures and workforce.

    + Supervise proper operation and maintenance of company assets, facilities, and equipment, and recommend replacement of or adjustments to facilities and equipment to the plant manager when necessary.

    + Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives, specifically promoting safety as the top goal and a core company value.

    + Incorporate organization, consistency, and cleanliness among plant personnel.

    Work Environment

     

    + 1st shift.

    + Work is performed in a non-climate controlled, industrial environment with ambient weather/air conditions.

    + It is a dusty setting where you may get dirty, working both inside and outside.

    + The environment includes loud noise, dangerous equipment, and variable lighting.

    + Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in all production areas.

    + Office work will be performed in clean, climate-controlled areas with fluorescent lighting.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/hr.
