    DIRECTOR OF INTERIORS -direct hire

    Description

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Oversee strategic planning and growth initiatives for the corporate workplace and interior design sector

     

    Partner with design leads, project teams, and external consultants to align creative vision with technical execution

     

    Supervise project workflows and ensure consistency and quality across interior design deliverables

     

    Conduct market research on emerging trends including future workplace models, WELL standards, biophilic design, sustainability, and organizational change

     

    Support hiring, team development, and performance evaluations within the interior design group

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    Minimum of 15 years in professional Interior Design

     

    Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited institution preferred

     

    NCIDQ certification is a plus but not mandatory

    - doesn't need director experience, but should have the necessary experience and ready to be a leader.

     

    - should have prior leadership exp whether that's mentoring or leading a team

     

    - really targeting more commercial experience here, not looking for as much residential exp.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Birmingham, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.

     

    401k match, they pay for half of the healthcare, PTO is based on exp - will go up to 4 weeks if the exp is there..they understand the candidate will not want to go backwards in PTO.
