Job Title: Quality SupervisorJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Supervisor to join our team during a split shift from 5 or 6 PM to 1 or 2 AM. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Review and approve records to ensure compliance.
+ Identify deviations, initiate, and coordinate completion of Non-Conformance and Corrective Action (CAPA) investigations including root cause analyses.
+ Manage the disposition of raw materials and products as Hold/Release/Quarantine as applicable, and handle dispositioning materials in the electronic WMS system.
+ Conduct basic food safety/cGMP and quality-related training for new hires.
+ Assist with the development of SOPs related to manufacturing processes and production personnel compliance training.
+ Provide support as needed during audits by regulatory and third parties.
+ Conduct and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental testing as part of the Environmental Monitoring Program.
+ Collect raw materials to prepare and/or conduct testing.
+ Sample finished products to collect data and identify sensory attributes.
+ Evaluate sensory characteristics for product approval and shelf life studies.
+ Collaborate with production personnel to correct processes if the product is out of compliance.
+ Convey test results to the appropriate personnel and follow up if needed.
+ Complete audits based on the production schedule.
+ Conduct and coordinate facility environmental testing.
+ Promote and follow GMPs for the facility.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in quality control and quality assurance.
+ Strong understanding of root cause analysis.
+ Experience with GMP, HACCP, and food safety.
+ Familiarity with FDA regulations.
+ Experience in food manufacturing and batch record review.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 1-3 plus years of food or GMP manufacturing quality experience.
+ Leadership or supervisory experience.
+ Experience with training quality technicians.
+ A degree in the sciences is preferred.
+ Training or experience with SQF, HACCP, GFSI, or PCQI is a plus.
Work Environment
This position operates within a food manufacturing plant. The role includes a training period of 3-6 months. Our company is a dynamic startup experiencing aggressive growth, and we are expanding to a second shift to meet customer demand.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Muskego, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
