    Job Title: Automation Technician

    Job Description

    The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support to customers, including the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of automated machinery. In addition to field service work, this role will involve performing hands-on tasks, including machine assembly, testing, and troubleshooting before shipment. This position requires strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems as well as the ability to work independently and professionally with customers. Up to 20% domestic and international travel is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, commission, and start up automated machinery at customer facilities.

    + Perform machine building, wiring, assembly, and testing before shipment.

    + Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and programming issues.

    + Conduct system troubleshooting and calibration both in-house and at customer sites.

    + Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.

    + Utilize PLC and HMI software for troubleshooting and adjustments.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $48.08/hr.
