    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our laboratory team as a Specimen Accessioner. In this role, you will be responsible for handling and preparing clinical specimens for analysis and testing. Your work will ensure accurate and timely processing of samples to support critical diagnostic operations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Accession clinical specimens into the laboratory system

    + Sort and organize samples, including blood, plasma, urine, and other bodily fluids

    + Enter patient information accurately into data systems

    + Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing

    + Unpack and route specimens to designated staging areas

    + Identify and label specimens correctly

    + Pack and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities

    + Store excess specimen samples according to protocols

    Required Skills:

    + Data entry and accessioning

    + Labeling and inventory management

    + Shipping and receiving

    + Laboratory operations and sample preparation

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + No prior experience necessary; 1–2 years preferred

    + Previous medical or production experience is a plus

    + Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
