Join a dynamic team at a leading manufacturer specializing in surface heaters, temperature controllers, and insulators. Our products are integral to hundreds of industries, ensuring optimal temperatures and preventing freezing. We seek an Application Engineer to manage sales projects for custom heating solutions across diverse customer segments.
Responsibilities
+ Act as a technical or sales contact during the product development phase for new and ongoing projects.
+ Oversee documentation and approval of customer specifications, assisting in quotes and proposals preparation.
+ Engage in sales and technical presentations to prospective or existing customers.
+ Coordinate quotes, technical information, dimensions, and other parameters with customers, engineering, and manufacturing.
+ Oversee coordination and transfer of new orders to ensure accurate design and compliance with customer specifications.
+ Coordinate engineering changes to ensure customer satisfaction and procedural compliance.
+ Oversee pricing, shipping schedules, and other parameters based on customer requests.
+ Review and manage approval drawings and ensure timely finalization.
+ Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and the testing lab for development, design, and testing requirements.
+ Work with sales partners and personnel to forecast and grow the business.
+ Act as a key contact to identify and communicate new product interests.
+ Travel to customers for presentations, measurements, and technical discussions as required.
+ Conduct pricing reviews and recommend guidelines based on profit and marketing information.
+ Assist inside sales with quotes, customer contact, and technical issues.

+ 1-3 years of technical support or sales experience
+ Good written and oral communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1 co-op within a manufacturing environment
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
Work Environment
This role is based out of the corporate office, with minimal travel of around 0-5% to customer sites. The position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level engineers or those interested in the semiconductor or heating industry, promising exposure to customer interactions, technical project management, and pricing negotiations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of COLUMBUS, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $33.65/hr.
