    Job Title: Senior Pharmacy Manager

     

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our mail-order pharmacy. This role involves managing dispensing, staff, inventory, and ensuring regulatory compliance while leveraging automation technologies like ScriptPro/VBM. The ideal candidate will ensure quality patient care and contribute to the strategic growth of the pharmacy.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee daily dispensing operations and manage pharmacy staff.

    + Ensure adherence to pharmacy laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

    + Manage a team of 5 pharmacists responsible for dispensing and clinical programs.

    + Participate in the accreditation process and handle all quality reporting.

    + Utilize root cause analysis to improve pharmacy operations.

    + Lead and develop pharmacy operations and personnel.

    + Oversee pharmacy quality reports and accreditations.

    + Manage filling, labelling, insurance processes, order entry, and 340B compliance in long-term care.

    Essential Skills

    + Proven experience in pharmacy management and leadership.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Experience in clinical pharmacy operations.

    + Ability to conduct root cause analysis.

    + Experience with pharmacy quality reporting and accreditation processes.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 340B Pharmacy compliance expertise.

    + Proficiency in data analytical analysis.

    + Ability to leverage data to develop strategies and improve efficiencies.

    Work Environment

    The work environment is a closed-door pharmacy with three sites in Fort Myers, comprising approximately 30 team members including technicians, leadership, CSRs, and shipping staff. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break, and half-day Fridays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. While the role is not strictly 9-5, flexibility may be required depending on business needs.     This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Myers, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $160000.00/yr.

     

    12 paid Holidays, 2 weeks of PTO, Bonus structure based on company goals, Half day Fridays, 5% 401k match
