    Job Title: Manufacturing Process Technician - Night ShiftJob Description

     

    Join our team as a Manufacturing Process Technician, where you will perform manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures under limited supervision. This night shift position runs from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with some Fridays required for overtime. This role demands proficiency in Associate Manufacturing tasks and offers the opportunity to perform those functions as well.

    Responsibilities

    + Schedule operations and oversee production timelines.

    + Perform initial reviews of manufacturing procedures and batch records.

    + Train Manufacturing Operators and Associate Manufacturing personnel on process theory.

    + Draft and revise complex documents such as manufacturing procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, technical reports, and validation documents.

    + Audit critical records and propose corrective actions for quality incidents.

    + Assist in planning and implementing routine improvement functions.

    + Interact with other departments to implement planned improvements.

    + Identify and propose solutions to complex manufacturing problems.

    + Perform data analysis, including Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Continued Process Verification (CPV) of critical process parameters.

    + Lead capacity planning for equipment and processes.

    + Assist with recruiting efforts as needed.

    + Supervise staff and perform system owner responsibilities, including process documentation.

    + Collaborate with Process Development teams.

    + Support manufacturing procedures and documentation generation and review processes.

    + Troubleshoot processes and assess performance through process monitoring.

    + Support training activities and process assessments.

    + Participate in cross-functional investigational teams to define and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).

    + Assist in the generation, review, and execution of process validation protocols.

    + Support new product introduction and product lifecycle management.

    + Initiate and implement Level 1 and Level 2 Change Control records.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in manufacturing processes and batch record review.

    + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

    + Bachelor's degree in Life Science or Engineering with 2 years of directly related experience, or a high school diploma with 5+ years of experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical ability and expertise.

    + Understanding of equipment and processes leading to greater independent judgment.

    + Basic statistical and mathematical skills.

    + Technical writing capability.

    + Ability to interpret and apply GMP knowledge.

    + Understanding of analytical methods for the manufacturing area.

    + Basic project management skills.

    Work Environment

    This role is performed in a manufacturing environment during night shifts, requiring adherence to safety and quality standards. Employees are expected to work in a collaborative team setting with opportunities for cross-departmental interaction and process improvements. The position involves occasional overtime on Fridays, and employees must be comfortable using data analysis tools and technical writing applications.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
