    Job Title: Software Engineer

    Job Description

    Join our innovative team as a Software Engineer where you will collaborate with fellow engineers to develop new and enhance existing applications using Python, Rust, and other languages based on high-level specifications and requirements. You will lead the development of prototypes, demos, and internal tooling, as well as refactor and optimize front-end user experiences using frameworks such as React and Flutter. Your role will also involve maintaining and improving legacy systems as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Spearhead the development of prototypes, demos, and internal tooling.

    + Refactor and optimize front-end user experiences using React and Flutter.

    + Maintain, replace, and improve legacy systems when needed.

    + Use Jira to track and manage assigned stories, epics, and escalated service tickets.

    + Utilize Git and BitBucket for creating branches, pull requests, and commits.

    + Provide support to end users directly or by creating detailed feature requests, bug reports, and process improvements.

    + Review and approve documentation, manuals, and procedures for both internal and external use.

    + Identify and patch bugs in development and production under time constraints.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with embedded software, software development, and firmware.

    + Proficiency in Python, Rust, and front-end frameworks such as React and Flutter.

    + Familiarity with Jira for task tracking and management.

    + Proficient use of version control systems like Git and BitBucket.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Familiarity with specific hardware such as HP Aruba.

    + Ability to work with customers to deploy and maintain audio and access control systems.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Ripon, WI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
