Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, integrating, and testing electrical systems associated with gas turbine engines and components. This role includes implementing electrical circuit design, electrical enclosures, wire harnesses, and test equipment for engine and component tests.
Responsibilities
+ Apply knowledge of electronics design and development.
+ Create and maintain detailed design drawings of electronic and electrical interconnect systems.
+ Design and assist in the development of new electro-mechanical systems and prototypes.
+ Work with cross-disciplinary teams to determine solutions for electromechanical component packaging, thermal and environmental management, electrical interfaces, system integration, and test.
+ Support integration operations and testing.
+ Perform verification and validation processes for engine avionics, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
+ Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues creatively and effectively.
+ Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
+ Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
+ Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in Electrical Design.
+ Experience with full PCB design including layout and schematics.
+ Proficiency with CAD software, preferably Altium.
+ Experience in a regulated environment such as aerospace or aviation.
+ Strong documentation skills.
Work Environment
The role requires working onsite in a lab and cubicle environment. The work schedule is flexible within core hours, typically from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Jupiter, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
