    As an Infusion Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting sterile compounding and IV fulfillment within a high-throughput infusion pharmacy setting. You will collaborate closely with pharmacists and fellow technicians to ensure that orders are prepared accurately, on time, and in compliance with cleanroom standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform sterile compounding in accordance with cleanroom procedures and maintain sterile compounding logs.

    + Fill and stage IV orders, supplies, and related materials for infusion therapies.

    + Accurately label, package, and prepare infusion products for delivery.

    + Maintain cleanroom standards, including gowning, sanitization, and environmental best practices, while following SOPs.

    + Manage inventory for IV solutions, supplies, and disposables, and flag low-stock items.

    + Verify order details, such as drug, diluent, concentration, and beyond-use dating, before pharmacist checks.

    + Document all work in required systems and logs with strong attention to detail.

    + Collaborate with pharmacists and peers to meet turnaround times and address order clarifications.

    + Support general pharmacy operations as needed to maintain production flow.

    Essential Skills

    + Licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in active status in New Jersey.

    + At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician, with exposure to infusion/sterile compounding preferred.

    + Proficiency in pharmacy, data entry, customer service, and compounding.

    + Ability to take direction and strong attention to detail.

    + Capability to stand for an 8-hour shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Pride in workmanship, punctuality, and reliability.

    + Commitment to patient and customer care.

    + Familiarity with USP cleanroom practices, with USP experience as a plus.

    + Professional communication and teamwork skills.

    Work Environment

    The position involves working in a dynamic infusion pharmacy environment with core hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM. Weekend work is required on a rotational or assigned coverage basis, with schedules provided in advance. Overtime is not required.

    This is a Contract position based out of New Brunswick, NJ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
