Provide oversight on multidisciplinary design and construction projects, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting professional development and skill enhancement. Mentor and develop high-level talent within the project teams, ensuring ongoing training in new technologies, leadership, and safety standards. Collaborate with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) on critical project initiatives ensuring that each project remains on budget and schedule as outlined in each respective grant. Assist clients with preliminary conceptual planning and grant application development to secure funding for their initiatives. Provide technical evaluations and responses to solicitation questions during contract procurement, attend/participate in site visits (or market surveys), attend/participate in pre-bid conferences, conduct interviews with lowest responsible bidder/highest ranked proponent and performing cost/bid/proposal analysis. Review and recommend approval of payments for design consultant invoices and contractor’s pay application requests of actual work performed in the billing period to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints. Participate in Bluebeam studio sessions for technical design and constructability plan reviews and utilize Primavera P6, and Microsoft Project (MSP) software for review of Construction as-builts from contractors to ensure all construction activities are completed on time by identifying critical milestones, assigning tasks to teams, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines throughout the project life cycle. Monitor and control project change orders (CO), owner-controlled allowances (OCA) by evaluating proposal requests, developing internal cost estimates, and assist in negotiations to ensure alignment with contract requirements. Review and recommend approval/disapproval of technical project submittals and respond to request for information (RFI) submitted by the contractor. Oversee the development and implementation of project schedules, ensuring that timelines are adhered to, and any potential delays are promptly addressed. Supervise quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) inspection team that identifies work not in conformance to the contract requirements. Promptly taking action to notify appropriate personnel/contractors to correct the deficiencies. Manage third-party material testing and inspection services to guarantee the quality of construction materials and a workmanship on the project. Work includes evaluating and selecting qualified testing companies based on merit, witnessing test procedures, reviewing test results to ensure compliance with project specifications, addressing any issues raised by the testing reports, reviewing monthly quality control and quality assurance reports. Upon issuance of substantial completion, assist client with project closeout procedures including commissioning and testing, warranty verification, finalization of record drawings, remediation of remaining punch list items, close out of financial accounts, and turnover to the using department for ongoing operations and maintenance prior to final acceptance.

2) 03 Mid-level Construction Inspectors.
3) 02 Senior Construction Inspectors.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management or related field of study and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation. As an alternative, employer will accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Construction Management or related field of study and 5 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise/ knowledge of: Construction Project Management. Contract management, pre-construction, project delivery methods. Change management. Schedule and budget oversight. Safety planning and oversight, quality assurance, risk management. Client facing relationship Knowledge of applicable federal, state, local laws, codes, and regulations related to construction as well as the areas Uniform Standard Drawings and Specifications for design and construction. Project Management software: (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Bluebeam Revu) Experience with 100+ Million construction projects. Experience with transit related projects.
OSHA 30 hour Certification.
