Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and machining CNC mills or lathes to produce high-quality parts for aerospace applications. You will work with materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, and titanium, and perform quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

+ Operate, set up, and machine parts from CNC machines.

+ Perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling.

+ Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

+ Read and interpret blueprints.

+ Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) techniques.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in CNC lathe and mill machining.

+ Experience with prototype machining.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working with materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, Inconel, and titanium.

+ Capability to perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.

Work Environment

The work environment features new machines and requires working Monday through Saturday, from 7am to 6pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
