    Cherry Picker Operator

     

    Overview

     

    As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will ensure that finished products are moved to the packaging area after all processes have been completed according to the Manufacturing Order instructions. Your responsibilities will include checking parts against the Manufacturing Order to ensure correct products and processes, labeling products according to specifications, and packaging them in predetermined quantities and boxes. You will also be responsible for palletizing boxes with visible labels for easy identification, and safeguarding parts to prevent damage to machined surfaces.

     

    The available schedules are Monday-Friday 9:30AM-6PM and Sunday-Thursday 9PM-5:30AM.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate cherry picker and other warehouse equipment.

    + Move finished products to the packaging area following Manufacturing Order instructions.

    + Check parts against Manufacturing Order to ensure correctness and completion of processes.

    + Label products according to product specifications and customer requirements.

    + Package products in predetermined quantities and boxes.

    + Palletize boxes with labels visible for easy identification.

    + Safeguard parts to prevent damage to machined surfaces.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of cherry picker experience.

    + Experience with heavy picking (50 lbs daily).

    + Familiarity with inventory systems.

    + Knowledge of bills of lading and SAP.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean, new warehouse facility. Mid-shift positions are available, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM. Overtime opportunities are available before or after shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
