Job Title: Production Line Operator** **Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and safety-conscious Production Line Operator to join our team. This role involves executing production activities necessary for the manufacturing of conductive materials such as metal-plated fibers or coated non-woven materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or chemical handling and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct large and small volume chemical transfers.
+ Prepare chemical solutions and inspect raw materials.
+ Test in-process and finished materials.
+ Record data accurately and label and package finished goods.
+ Clean and maintain process and test equipment.
+ Handle hazardous materials, including spill clean-up, following established safety procedures.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety and productivity.
+ Participate in environmental health and safety programs.
+ Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize operational efficiency.
+ Assist in training operators according to facility practices.
Essential Skills
+ At least 6 months to a year of experience in manufacturing or chemical handling.
+ Attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset.
+ Ability to use a respirator and work independently.
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ US citizenship.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Enthusiasm and initiative to develop and maintain manufacturing processes.
+ Compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DEC).
+ Support the company's policies, goals, and objectives.

Work Environment
The work hours for this position are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The environment fosters a close-knit, collaborative atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schenectady, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
