    Job Title: Concrete Worker

    Job Description

    This position involves a variety of construction tasks including demolition, earthwork, concrete placement and finishing, framework erection, ceiling and wall installation, welding, and signaling operators. We value specialized skills and aim to allocate tasks accordingly while encouraging flexibility in different job site roles.

     

    Pay $18-$25/hour

    Responsibilities

    + Perform demolition work, earthwork, and excavations.

    + Place and finish concrete.

    + Prepare layouts and erect frameworks for structures.

    + Install ceilings and walls.

    + Weld and signal operators.

    + Utilize basic hand tools such as tool pouches, hammer, tape measure, speed square, and utility knife.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of construction experience.

    + Ability to lift 50lbs.

    + Ability to work in various weather conditions.

    + Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in construction, finishing, framing, carpentry, and concrete work.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Our work environment is centered around commercial construction, requiring boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. You will collaborate in teams of 3-10 people on site, with standard working hours from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
