Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities will involve receiving work instructions, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to perform scheduled, emergency, routine repairs, calibrations, and/or preventative maintenance. You will interpret drawings/sketches to determine the best work procedures and tools needed to troubleshoot and repair problems. Your tasks include repairing, rebuilding, and testing electrical components to ensure equipment is operational as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Responsibilities

+ Perform scheduled, emergency, and routine repairs, calibrations, and preventative maintenance.

+ Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to determine work procedures and tools.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems, ensuring equipment functionality.

+ Repair, rebuild, and test electrical components.

+ Work with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in maintenance and repair of overhead cranes.

+ Ability to read electrical schematics.

+ Understanding of safety practices including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair with 480 voltage systems.

+ 70% electrical and 30% mechanical focus in tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with 480 voltage motors.

+ Proficiency in using mechanical benders, shears, and rollers.

+ Knowledge of control boards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
