Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily supervisor duties, ensuring employees meet daily goals and metrics. This role may require assisting with production tasks such as operating machinery, managing terminal operations, and maintaining product levels in machines. The position involves physical activity, including lifting up to 35lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50lbs. The supervisor is accountable for maintaining safety standards, minimizing scrap rates, and ensuring non-conforming products are not delivered to customers. Efficient management of employees and machinery is essential to meet production goals, and planning shift schedules to meet product demand is crucial. The supervisor will promote a positive team atmosphere, working collaboratively to achieve production quotas.

Responsibilities

+ Supervise daily operations and ensure employees meet goals and metrics.

+ Assist with production duties, including machine operation and maintenance.

+ Maintain safety standards and minimize scrap rates.

+ Ensure non-conforming products are not delivered to customers.

+ Maximize efficiency of employees and machinery.

+ Plan shift schedules and ensure product demand is met.

+ Study schedules, interpret specifications, and assign duties accordingly.

+ Maintain a positive team atmosphere and work collaboratively to achieve production quotas.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, packaging, and machine operation.

+ Ability to operate automated packaging equipment.

+ Experience with general labor, assembly, forklift operation, and hand tools.

+ Leadership experience of at least 1 year.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Consistent work history.

+ Ideally, prior lead or supervisor experience in a similar industry.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
