Job Title: Building Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the campus. You will work closely with the Director of Campus Facilities to perform general maintenance, repairs, and support both daily operations and long-term facility care.
Responsibilities
+ Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including filter changes, belt replacements, and temperature adjustments using the building automation system.
+ Perform plumbing repairs such as faucet replacements, toilet repairs, drain snaking, and valve replacements.
+ Conduct electrical maintenance including changing lightbulbs, repairing fixtures, resetting breakers, and replacing switches.
+ Complete light carpentry tasks such as woodwork, trim repair, painting, and staining.
+ Monitor, read, and document boiler and chiller system performance.
+ Assist with outdoor maintenance including snow removal, salting, and operating small engine equipment like leaf blowers and snow blowers.
+ Conduct pool chemical testing and monitoring during summer months.
+ Open and close exterior buildings for seasonal transitions, including winterizing procedures.
+ Perform general repairs and maintenance across all facilities, both interior and exterior.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, and general maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in building maintenance, apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance.
+ Possession of a boilers license and CPO certification.
+ Skills in painting and plumbing.

Work Environment
Work primarily within the clubhouse facility, located in a prestigious private country club in Minneapolis, MN. The club is the oldest private country club west of the Mississippi, offering a rich history and a variety of amenities including golf, dining, pool, and tennis. While most work (90%) will be inside the clubhouse, assistance will occasionally be required in outdoor areas around the clubhouse (10%).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr.
