    Job Title: Shipping Supervisor

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic Tier 2 Manufacturing facility in Michigan, where you will play a pivotal role in the Shipping & Receiving department. As a Shipping Supervisor, you will oversee the entire outbound shipment process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of goods. This involves preparing documents, scheduling carriers, tracking deliveries, and resolving issues. Your role is crucial in liaising with customers and internal teams to maintain seamless operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage and coordinate outbound shipment processes.

    + Prepare necessary documents such as packing lists, customs forms, and ASNs.

    + Schedule and manage carrier pickups and deliveries.

    + Oversee packaging and labeling processes.

    + Manage shipping software and handle invoices.

    + Maintain accurate shipping records.

    + Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.

    + Ensure regulatory compliance in all shipping activities.

    + Coordinate all shipments within the department.

    Essential Skills

    + Expertise in PLEXS software within the last 5 years.

    + Experience in coordinating scheduling pickups and managing carriers in a shipping & receiving environment.

    + Proven track record of overseeing a shipping department in an automotive setting.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a well-established company that has recently expanded into the USA. The facility is undergoing improvements and expansions, with new fixtures being installed. The work environment includes both stamping and robotic welding areas. The position is a first shift, salaried role, with working hours from Monday to Friday, either 7 am - 4 pm or 8 am - 5 pm.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

     

    Working thru new benefits package and working with the US to match the market

    Starting from the ground up; would help get to make the plant what it is.

    They just launched their 2nd shift; would eventually launch 3rd shift by Q4 / Q1 2025
