    Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units. This role involves conducting routine inspections, cleaning ducts and filters, refilling refrigerants to optimize system performance, assisting with the installation of new systems by interpreting blueprints, and ensuring proper connections. You will also be responsible for boiler repair as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including RTU's.

    + Conduct routine inspections, clean ducts and filters, and refill refrigerants to optimize system performance.

    + Assist in the installation of new systems, interpret blueprints, and ensure proper connections.

    + Perform boiler repairs as necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + 4+ years of HVAC experience.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprint schematics.

    + Experience in facilities maintenance.

    + EPA Universal Certification.

    + Valid Driver's License.

    + Customer service-oriented approach.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in plumbing and HVAC maintenance.

    + Ability to work with RTU's and facilities maintenance.

    Work Environment

    This role involves working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with on-call hours as needed. You will be part of a team consisting of three other individuals on the HVAC team, including one HVAC specialist, one plumber, and one electrician. The overall facilities team includes 45 people, comprising trades and custodial staff.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Oneonta, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.25 - $28.25/hr.
