Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fork Lift Operator to join our team. This role requires the ability to operate a forklift efficiently and safely, as well as perform additional machine operation tasks when needed. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.
Responsibilities
+ Operate the forklift professionally and accident-free, ensuring regular inspection and maintenance.
+ Maintain cleanliness and systematic upkeep of the forklift.
+ Track the location of goods during material handling using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accurate data entry.
+ Perform manual tasks as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, such as inventory sampling and cleaning.
+ Ensure the warehouse is clean and tidy at all times.
+ Properly load and unload transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations.
+ Maintain safety standards and initiate emergency procedures when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of forklift experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
+ Ability to count accurately and read scales when moving inventory.
+ Capability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
+ Alertness and awareness when operating the forklift safely.
+ Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
+ Experience working in confined spaces with a forklift.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Durant, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
