    Aerotek is hiring a Maintenance Apprentice

    Responsibilities

    + Set up, adjust, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with a focus on production and quality.

    + Monitor and maintain all building and production systems as assigned, including 24-hour emergency maintenance service when scheduled.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment, report to Shift Supervisor, and take appropriate action.

    + Analyze mechanical and operational problems, make necessary corrections, and run adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.

    + Test equipment to ensure correct operation and production of quality products.

    + Create a spare parts program, manage ordering for the Maintenance Department, and ensure receipt and payment for all orders.

    + Update all technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Maintenance Department with support from the Engineering team.

    + Act as the main contact for vendors supporting facilities maintenance and ensure service frequency aligns with vendor preventative maintenance schedules.

    + Maintain inventory controls for cost-effective operations.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in maintenance technician roles, including conveyor and industrial maintenance.

    + Mechanical and industrial skills.

    + 6 months to a year of plant or maintenance experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

    + Ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 25 to 50 pounds frequently, and 10 to 20 pounds constantly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a technical or mechanical environment is a plus.

    + SAP experience is a plus.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $41080.00 - $52000.00/yr.
