    Oak Street Health is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead operations across approximately twelve primary care clinics and the community outreach team in Arizona. This **Executive Director, Oak Street Health Regional Leader** will be responsible for driving clinical, operational, and financial performance while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and community engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Oversee day-to-day operations for ~13 clinics and a team of approximately 200 colleagues and 10 direct reports, ensuring high performance and alignment with Oak Street Health’s mission.

    + Own full P&L responsibility, driving profitability while maintaining high standards of care and service.

    + Consistently exceed clinical quality metrics, patient acquisition goals, and financial targets.

    + Build strategic partnerships with local healthcare providers, health plans, insurance agencies, and community organizations to accelerate growth and improve outcomes.

    + Serve as a visible and trusted leader in the community, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and organizations.

    + Partner with your Regional Medical Director (dyad partner) to foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

    + Work with the Treehouse (Oak Street Health’s Shared Services) to develop and execute on Oak Street Health’s top strategic priorities.

    + Share best practices and collaborate with peers across markets to drive enterprise-wide success.

    + Embody and promote Oak Street Health’s mission-driven, patient-first culture.

    Qualifications:

    The candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with all the business leaders. The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes:

     

    + 10+ years of experience in healthcare provider operations, including leadership roles in physician group management, health plan operations, or clinic administration.

    + 5+ years in leadership roles demonstrating operational excellence and strategic impact. Proven track record of leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.

    + Knowledge of provider performance, retention strategies, and value-based contracting operations.

    + Strong business acumen with experience managing P&L and driving growth.

    + Demonstrated ability to innovate and implement change in complex environments.

    + Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.

    + Growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

    + Willing to travel regularly to all clinic locations throughout Arizona.

    + Must reside in Arizona and within a reasonable commuting distance to Phoenix and Tucson.

    + 30% travel expected.

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree required.

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $131,500.00 - $303,195.00

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
