Position Title:

Forklift Operator

**Pay Rate** :

($21.93/hr)

**Sign-on Bonus** :

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,

$500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years

**Retention Bonus** :

$500 after 1 year

Additional lump sum after 2 years

**Category/Shift** :

Hourly Full-Time (3pm-11pm or 11pm to 7am – Monday-Friday) and some Saturdays

The Job You Will Perform:

+ Following all safety rules and practices

+ Reading factory orders and various shipping and/or receiving papers to learn customer requirements and processing information

+ Monitoring conveyor take off lines, removing units form the lines, and loading units into trailers and/or placing units in storage areas

+ Inspecting finished goods , checking load tags and unit counts to verify they are correct

+ Accurately completing tally sheets to record units loaded into trailers

+ Maintaining clean and organized work areas, storage area, and aisles

+ Maintaining well-organized paperwork

+ Generating accurate bill of lading

+ Taking and maintaining accurate inventories

+ Performing other duties as assigned

The Skills You Will Bring:

+ Certified to operate forklift

+ Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and ruler

+ Ability to use basic shop math

+ Ability to follow instructions, ask questions and work effectively as a member of a team.
