    Job Description

    The primary purpose of this position is to prepare and serve meals to meet residents’ nutritional needs; to assist residents with meal set-up; and to properly sanitize after meal service. This position is Full Time

    Position Duties

    + Possess a high degree of personal cleanliness and hygiene

    + Assist in serving of meals and loading of food carts

    + Assist in preparation of various desserts, salads, peeling vegetables, etc.

    + Assist in washing dishes, pots and pans, while following good cleaning procedures

    + Assist in dining area set-up and tray assembly

    + Perform cleaning duties in kitchen and dining rooms, on equipment, dishwashing area, etc.

    + Deliver food and snack carts to various areas within the building

    + Assist with food and supply receiving and storage, as assigned

    + Obtain food and supplies from storeroom, as needed

    + Able and willing to work all positions with department, excluding cook and management

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    + Completion of Serve Safe™ program upon entry into this position.
