The Digital Modernization Division at ICF is a rapidly growing, technology-driven team delivering strategic IT and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients.

As part of this team, you’ll help transform how organizations operate in a digital-first world—building scalable, secure, and human-centered platforms that matter. You’ll design and build scalable applications that power everything from public health platforms to defense systems, using modern cloud and DevOps practices. You’ll collaborate with a tight-knit team of developers, QA engineers, and analysts while exploring cutting-edge tools like AI-assisted development and automation workflows. Your work will include everything from sprint planning to secure cloud deployments, giving you hands-on experience with the full software lifecycle. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities for mentorship, leadership growth, and rotation across high-impact projects.

This is an entry-level, full-time position that may work from any U.S. location, and is expected to begin during Summer 2026.

What you will be doing:

+ Collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholder needs.

+ Help build back-end and front-end web-based software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

+ Work with databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

+ Apply and generate best practices in multiple technical domains using various technology products and services.

Minimum qualifications:

+ By start date, a completed Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline

+ U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements

Preferred qualifications:

+ Experience with programming languages and platforms such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Python, Node.js, React, and Angular

+ Experience with SQL

**Pay Range** - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$61,232.00 - $114,503.00
