Senior Plastics Molding Engineer – Strategic Sourcing

**Locations:** Multiple U.S. locations (preferred: CT, NJ, NY, TX)

**Work Arrangement:** Onsite | **Travel:** Up to 30%

**Salary:** $110K–$140K + bonus | **Visa Sponsorship:** Not available

About the Role:

Join a leading global company in the medical device and healthcare space. This senior engineering role supports plastics and tooling initiatives across the supply chain, collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Act as a technical expert in plastics molding and tooling

+ Support supplier development, manufacturing transfers, and process improvements

+ Provide design guidance for components and assemblies

+ Oversee tooling and process reliability, validation support

+ Identify and mitigate supply chain risks

+ Drive continuous improvement and support cross-functional problem solving

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering or related field

+ 10+ years in injection molding or plastics manufacturing; regulated industry experience preferred

+ Supplier-facing experience a plus

+ Strong knowledge of plastics manufacturing, design principles, and process control

+ Proficient with CAD and general engineering software

+ Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience preferred
