    The Bradley School is a licensed private academy educating close to 200 students who present with special education needs. These students may have learning, emotional and/or behavioral challenges and struggle to succeed in a traditional classroom setting. The Bradley School offers each student a different kind of academic experience and a renewed chance at success. In addition, our classrooms include state-of-the-art resources that are specifically designed to serve the needs of the students.

     

    + This position provides coverage for staff call-offs and support

    + May be scheduled for up to 3 days per week, with a maximum of 24 hours per week

    + Hours are 7:00AM-3:00 PM or 7:30 AM-3:30 when scheduled to cover the school day

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Support the learning of each student

    + Co-facilitate classroom activities

    + Ensure safety and well-being of students

    + Teach skills that will lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, social and emotional growth

    Qualifications best suited for the position:

    + Initiative

    + Ability to work with a team to plan and implement programming

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Professional demeanor, sound judgment, dependability, and a strong work ethic

    + Problem-solving skills

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, psychology or related field preferred

    + Minimum of 48 college credits in education, social work, psychology or related field required

    + Must be at least 21 years of age

    + Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
