    Shipping Utility

    Summary

    The Shipping Utility supports shipping and receiving operations by preparing materials for entry into and exit from the facility. This role follows all safety, quality, and compliance requirements, including SQF standards and company workplace policies and procedures.

    Essential Functions

    \u2022 Prepare finished goods for outbound shipment

    \u2022 Load outbound trailers and unload inbound raw materials

    \u2022 Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and roll clamp trucks

    \u2022 Stock and organize finished goods in designated warehouse locations

    \u2022 Maintain a high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail

    \u2022 Follow all safety and material handling procedures

    \u2022 Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

    Qualifications / Requirements

    \u2022 Ability to operate material handling equipment in a warehouse environment

    \u2022 Basic math skills

    \u2022 Ability to work accurately and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

    Essential Skills

    \u2022 Effective written and verbal communication skills

    \u2022 Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Windows-based software

    \u2022 Pallet jack certification or ability to obtain certification

    \u2022 Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification

    \u2022 Roll clamp truck certification or ability to obtain certification

    Protective Equipment Required

    \u2022 Safety glasses

    \u2022 Safety shoes

    \u2022 Earplugs

    \u2022 Cut-resistant gloves

    \u2022 High-visibility vest

    \u2022 Hairnet and beard net when required

    Physical Requirements
