Job Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Work with the teams for revenue accountability for orders and bookings across the Southwest Region.
+ Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with Bosch Building Technologies roadmap, including market expansion for HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, and Security offerings.
+ Lead, coach, and oversee the regional sales team; implement performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management best practices.
+ Build and maintain executive relationships with strategic customers, developers, and contractor networks.
+ Prospect, qualify, and close new opportunities; influence design and construction decisions; develop competitive estimates, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses.
+ Negotiate and close complex deals while ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.
+ Design and launch demand generation programs to expand funnel activity and accelerate market penetration; monitor competitive landscape and emerging opportunities.
+ Partner with National Accounts leadership to integrate offerings into portfolio programs; identify cross-selling opportunities and support enterprise negotiations.
+ Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure delivery excellence; provide input for estimating, design, installation, and commissioning.
+ Support ongoing service engineering and lifecycle account retention; maintain high levels of sales activity and timely reporting.
+ Actively participate in industry associations and stay current on local and national codes impacting system design.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
+ 7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in Building Technologies, Fire/Life Safety, Security, or Integrated Building Systems, with a proven track record of driving regional growth and managing National Accounts, including owner-direct and construction projects.
+ Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, Fire/Life Safety, Security Systems, Building Automation, and IoT-enabled technologies.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead through integration, transformation, or merger scenarios, and manage complex solution sales including plan & spec and design-build projects.
+ Exceptional skills in executive communication, commercial negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration, with advanced proposal development capabilities.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite; strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
+ Solid understanding of construction processes and owner-direct negotiated delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction Management (technical certifications in HVAC/Electronics also valued).
+ 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in Building Technologies, Fire/Life Safety, Security, or Integrated Building Systems, with a proven track record of driving regional growth and managing National Accounts, including owner-direct and construction projects.
+ Deep familiarity with leading BAS, Fire Access Control, Video, and Security platforms and ability to position integrated solutions.
+ Strong understanding of enterprise network architecture and ability to recommend networked security system designs; experience with software integration (manufacturer apps, APIs, custom development).
+ Hands-on experience with low-voltage systems, including network/telecom, Emergency DAS, AV, and related technologies; prior exposure to HVAC controls/automation strongly preferred.
+ Proven ability to manage complex solution sales, including integrated systems and multi-technology deployments; advanced proposal development and technical positioning skills.
+ Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development through training, certifications, or industry engagement.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Be able to lift and carry, drawings, personal computers, material, and spend significant time sitting etc.
+ Be able to lift up to 30lbs.
+ Be able to spend significant time standing and walking.
+ Be able to climb flights of stairs throughout a typical day.
+ Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Climatec’s vehicle policy, if driving a company vehicle or participating in an auto allowance program.
