    School Social Worker – Elementary Level

     

    Pay: $50/hour

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Start ASAP through June)

     

    Position: 1 Full-Time Opening

     

    We’re seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join an elementary school near Beloit, Wisconsin. This role focuses on supporting students’ social-emotional development, strengthening family partnerships, and connecting learners to essential resources.     Key Responsibilities

    + Provide individualized support for students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges

    + Partner with families, educators, and staff to design effective intervention strategies

    + Conduct assessments and link students to school and community-based services

    + Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and restorative approaches

    + Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as needed

    + Advocate for student needs and foster trauma-sensitive practices

    + Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state requirements

    Qualifications

    + Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW)

    + Active Wisconsin DPI School Social Worker license

    + Experience working with elementary-aged students in school or clinical settings

    + Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

    + Knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavioral interventions, and family systems

    + Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust with students and families
