• CNA School Aide

    Amergis (Sarasota, FL)


    The CNA School Aide provides support services in various settings, including one-on-one, classroom support, and health office clinics. Services may include instructional support, personal care, behavioral assistance, and basic health services in the health clinic. This individual works under the supervision of the district school nurse or a clinical designee.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Certified Nursing Assistant required by state/contract/or client, required

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Qualifications/Credentials

    Experience working with children ( any setting ok), CNA license/ cert required

     

    + Must be comfortable with changing/ diapering

    + Sometimes take on role of Para if needed*
