Travel Labor & Delivery RN – Night Shift (13-Week Contract)

Start Date: February 2

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

Charting System: EPIC

Unit Overview

This is a 6-bed Labor & Delivery unit with one dedicated C-section operating room. The department averages approximately 100 deliveries per month and works collaboratively with both OBGYNs and midwives to provide comprehensive maternal care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support laboring patients throughout the delivery process

• Circulate and assist in C-section procedures

• Provide post-partum and post-surgical recovery care

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (State or Compact)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience

• Current certifications in the following:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

• NIHSS (Stroke Scale)

• CPI-A (Crisis Prevention Intervention – Advanced)
