Behavior Technician – $25/hr (Per Diem, Full-Time Potential)

Amergis is seeking dedicated and skilled Behavior Technicians to support students in school settings across California. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping children succeed and who have a strong foundation in ABA principles.

+ Pay: $25/hr

+ Schedule: Per diem with potential full-time opportunities

+ Location: School-based settings across California

? Job Responsibilities

+ Provide 1:1 behavioral support to students in classroom and non-classroom environments

+ Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies as outlined in behavior intervention plans

+ Collect and record accurate data on student behavior and progress

+ Support students in developing communication, social, and coping skills

+ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and behavior specialists

+ Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a student-centered approach

+ Experience working with children (required)

+ Knowledge of ABA therapy and behavior intervention strategies (required)

+ Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to follow structured plans and work independently

+ High school diploma required; additional education in psychology, education, or related fields is a plus

+ Competitive hourly rate
