Special Education Teacher – $45/hr – Benbrook, TX

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Special Education Teachers to provide quality services to an Alternative Learning Teaching (ALE) classroom. This classroom provides a highly structured environment with a low staff-to-student ratio where a variety of evidence based practices are used to meet the needs of students.

Position Details:

+ Location: Benbrook, TX

+ Caseload: 6-7 students

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: Full-time, 7:30 AM - 3 PM

+ Duration: 20 weeks

+ Pay Rate: $45/hr

Responsibilities:

+ Provide specialized instruction in inclusion settings

+ Collaborate with behavior technicians and para professionals

+ Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

+ Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines

+ Document services accurately and timely

Requirements:

+ Valid Texas Special Education Teaching Certificate

+ Generalist or Core Certification preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Minimum 1 year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
