    About the role

As a Senior Payments Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering an enterprise‑scale ISO 20022 migration, with a primary focus on SAP IDoc‑based payment integrations. This role requires strong domain expertise in legacy payment formats, end‑to‑end payment processing, and field‑level mapping across multiple integration channels.

    In this role, you will

    • Analyze end‑to‑end payment processing workflows, including H2H and SWIFT channels.

    • Perform field‑by‑field mapping from SAP IDoc payment messages (e.g., PAYEXT, ACC_DOCUMENT, custom payment IDocs) to ISO 20022 message formats (e.g., pain.001, pacs.008).

    • Support Hybrid Address and CBPR+ structured/unstructured address compliance.

    • Translate business requirements into detailed mapping specifications, data dictionaries, and functional documentation.

    • Collaborate closely with SAP functional/technical teams, integration architects, and payments operations.

    • Troubleshoot complex IDoc data, mapping discrepancies, and transformation logic across environments.

    • Support SIT/UAT cycles, test execution, defect resolution, and production readiness activities.

What you must have to be considered

    • 8–12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domain.

    • Hands‑on expertise with SAP IDoc payment formats (PAYEXT, ACC_DOCUMENT, custom IDocs).

    • Solid understanding of ISO 20022, CBPR+, and Hybrid Address requirements.

    • Experience with H2H and SWIFT file‑based payment integrations.

    • Ability to work effectively with legacy or custom‑built systems with limited documentation.

    • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder alignment skills.

    These will help you succeed

    • Experience developing data dictionaries, canonical models, or mapping accelerators.

    • Familiarity with SAP add‑ons, middleware/ETL tooling, or message‑validation tools.

    • Background supporting payments modernization, regulatory compliance, or multi‑entity transformation programs.

    • Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical partners.
