Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the CNSL BUDGET DEPARTMENT of COMNAVSURFLANT. Responsibilities You will formulate budget estimates to support plans, programs, and activities. You will develop and interpret budgetary policies and practices. You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative method of financial management of organization's programs and administrative operations. You will provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities. You will perform a variety of fiscal accounting and financial management duties and responsibilities. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0501-11 your resume must demonstrate at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience formulating budgets and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities including presenting and including budget estimates before authorities Experience analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations Experience implementing legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets Experience developing, determining, and interpreting budgetary policies and practices Experience providing advice in effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs and activities.
