Job Description Summary:
Manager of Learning-Nursing Excellence supports the lifelong professional development of nursing leadership to achieve strategic priorities aligned with the OhioHealth Nursing Vision and create a pool of ready leaders to meet the succession needs of the organization. The position supports the career continuum, growing staff nurse leaders, onboarding new managers, and advancing managers, directors and executives. The manager networks and collaborates across the system with senior nurse executives, Talent Management, OhioHealth Learning, and topic experts to assess needs, design learning opportunities, coordinate delivery of development experiences, and measure outcomes to meet the needs of select cohorts, specific teams, and individual development. The manager demonstrates commitment to best business practice, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities And Duties:

Partner with stakeholders to assess the need for professional development to meet strategic priorities for best business practice and patient centered care. Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of learning and development plans to ensure learning outcomes. Assure that learning supports the strategic plan and complies with organization values. Plan, organize and facilitate learning events through a wide variety of methodologies.

Identify strategies and opportunities for continuous improvement. Research methods and curate resources for relevant learning and development to support groups/teams and individual growth. Support the provision of continuing education credit for nursing.

Collaborate with key stakeholders and peers to align learning and development across the system to meet the collective needs of the organization, select groups/teams and individuals.

Pursue personal growth and professional development relevant to job responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (Required), Master's Degree: Nursing (Required)RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
